Beer: Best Post Workout Drink EVER!



Alcohol containing beverages are known to be a bad choice both pre- and post-workout. Yet Beer is a great post-workout drink, yet many people are just not aware of this.

When you exercise our glycogen stores quickly diminishes in our muscles making us crave carbs to replace the reserves. A beer is an excellent source for this purpose and therefore are a great post-workout beverage. In addition, beer contains many anti-oxidants and a wide range of B-vitamins that are necessary for muscle relaxation.

These make a good beer one of the best sources for hydration after a workout, as strange as it may sound, if you stick with one or two beers that is.
